Job Summary

Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the daily operations of the lodge, ensuring the highest standards of service for guests. Lead the management of the farm, including general maintenance, wildlife conservation, and sustainable farming practices. Manage lodge building projects, ensuring timely completion, quality control, and cost-effective solutions. Coordinate and supervise lodge events, from intimate gatherings to larger-scale functions. Lead and assist with hunting activities, ensuring adherence to sustainable hunting practices and wildlife conservation principles. Take hands-on responsibility for general farm work and maintenance operations. Oversee financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation for both farm and lodge operations. Provide strong leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring a motivated, skilled, and high-performing workforce. Manage guest relations, ensuring an unforgettable experience with personalized service and attention to detail. Requirements: 4-5 years previous working experience in farm management, project management, and building management, within a game lodge or hospitality environment. Strong knowledge and practical experience in wildlife conservation, sustainable hunting practices, and general farm operations. Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Hands-on experience with building management, ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of lodge infrastructure. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Financial management and budgeting skills, with experience in cost control and resource allocation. Ability to work well under pressure and handle a variety of tasks across different areas. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with guests and staff at all levels. A passion for nature, wildlife conservation, and sustainable practices. Previous experience in similar roles within luxury game lodge or hospitality settings is preferred. Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work long hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
