About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Silo Manager to join our team in Bethlehem, responsible for overseeing grain storage and management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agricultural industry experience and excellent knowledge of fumigation techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage silo operations, ensuring efficient grain storage and distribution
- Implement effective fumigation techniques to prevent pest infestations
- Monitor and maintain silo conditions to ensure quality and safety standards
- Collaborate with farmers and suppliers to optimize grain storage and logistics
- Maintain accurate records of grain inventory and storage conditions
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Silo Manager in the Agricultural Industry
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
- Proficiency in Grain Grading
- Strong knowledge of Fumigation Techniques
- Valid Driver’s License and own Transport
- Contactable references and payslips required
