Job Description
About the Role
The Agronomist position in Bloemfontein, Freestate, requires an individual with a strong background in agriculture and excellent communication skills to join our team. As an Agronomist, you will be responsible for identifying issues and providing solutions, as well as contributing to the growth and development of our crops.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify potential issues with crop health and provide solutions
- Conduct research on industry trends, technology, and developments relevant to agriculture
- Develop and implement effective decision-making processes
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex agricultural challenges
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders through verbal and written means
- Present information in a clear and concise manner
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Soil Science or related field
- 3 years experience as an Agronomist
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Solid SA experience of crops
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel
