About the Role
Our client, a well-established and innovative company based in Bloemfontein, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman to join its growing team. This role is ideal for a technically strong individual with a passion for accurate design, technical drawings, and turning concepts into practical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, and plans for storage solutions and related projects
- Develop 2D and 3D CAD models based on project specifications and client requirements
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and production teams to translate concepts into practical designs
- Review and interpret architectural, structural, or mechanical drawings to ensure accuracy
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, tolerances, and safety regulations
- Update and maintain drawing archives and project documentation
- Assist in modifications and revisions of drawings as required during project execution
- Provide technical support to production and installation teams
- Participate in project meetings to offer design input and solutions
- Maintain high attention to detail and quality control in all drafting tasks
Requirements

- Relevant Draughting / Engineering Drawing qualification (National Certificate, Diploma or equivalent)
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience in a draughting role (experience in manufacturing, construction, or engineering environments advantageous)
