About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Supervisor: Production Planner to join our team in Boksburg. As a key member of our production planning department, you will be responsible for coordinating, controlling, developing, and managing the production planning team and job costing on all released production orders. You will also provide internal process training to department employees and plan and oversee all production of the Workshop Production lines.

Key Responsibilities

Function as the focal point in creating a production schedule for New Capital machinery, rebuild machinery production using the best combination of Visual Manufacturing MRP System, Excel, and Microsoft Projects.
Monitor, analyze, and report performance to schedule of production activities utilizing information derived from material and production control systems.
Coordinate with project managers, sales, and production to sequence manufacturing, assembly, and installations.
Research and assign manufacturing times and due dates on parts as needed and document during the releasing process.
Coordinate with departments and project managers as needed to identify and resolve issues regarding budget and delivery.
Monitor quality, service, and delivery issues and take corrective actions as needed.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years planning or management within a similar environment
Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing and fabrication process environment
Knowledge of Visual Manufacturing or other MRP/ERP Systems
MS projects software experience
Business Central system experience and management
Experience with ISO quality management systems and processes

Qualifications

Basic degree in Business, Commerce, or related field (no formal education mentioned)
