About the Role

Network Finance is seeking a skilled Tractor Technician to join our team in Bothaville. As a key member of our maintenance and repair team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our agricultural equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks) and major repairs on tractor engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and brakes.
• Use electronic diagnostic tools and equipment to identify electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs in the field (on-farm) to minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of service, repairs, and hours spent on job cards.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of proven experience in agricultural equipment or heavy machinery.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license required for field services.

Qualifications

• Formal education or relevant training in mechanical engineering, agriculture, or a related field is an asset.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. heavy machinery operation) are advantageous but not mandatory.
