About the Role
We are seeking an inspired and dynamic Restaurant Head Chef to join our beachfront restaurant in the Seychelles. As a highly creative and effective leader, you will be responsible for managing a diverse team with varied skill levels, while maintaining consistently high standards and introducing fresh energy to our food offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the management of daily kitchen operations
- Supervising staff and providing guidance and training
- Managing budgets, supplier management, stock control, and waste reduction
- Developing and implementing menu plans that meet budget and food cost efficiency requirements
- Maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
Requirements
- 4 years of Senior Chef experience in a high-end restaurant
- Culinary Diploma or Degree from a reputable chef’s academy
- Expertise in seafood forward menus & locally inspired fusion flavour profiles
- Proven ability to manage daily kitchen operations, including staff supervision, budgeting, supplier management, stock control, and waste reduction
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications: Culinary Diploma or Degree from a reputable chef’s academy (if applicable)
