Job Description
About the Role
The Citrus Production Manager will oversee the daily operations of our citrus production facility in Burgersfort, ensuring efficient and effective production of high-quality citrus products.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control production processes to meet quality and yield standards
- Manage inventory levels and optimize supply chain logistics
- Supervise and train production staff to achieve optimal productivity
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to prevent defects and spoilage
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement production strategies
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
- Additional Agricultural qualifications (e.g. National Diploma, BCom) an advantage
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar production management role
- Experience with MAFF RODA mechanical sizer would be an advantage
