Job Description
About the Role
The Citrus Production Manager will oversee the daily operations of our citrus production facility in Burgersfort, ensuring optimal crop yields and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage citrus crop growth and harvesting schedules
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure high standards of produce
- Manage and maintain equipment, including MAFF RODA mechanical sizer
- Supervise and train production staff
- Maintain accurate records of production, yields, and quality control
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate
- Additional Agricultural qualifications (advantageous)
- 3 years experience in a similar production management position
- Experience with MAFF RODA mechanical sizer (advantageous)
