Brand Strategist Observatory Cape Town

Our global technology client in Observatory Cape town is looking for a Brand Strategist with 4 years solid experience. Global experience and exposure would be an added bonus. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the brand’s presence and performance in the local market while aligning with global brand objectives.

Salary Negotiablem – HYBRID ROLE

Min Qualifications and requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in brand strategy, marketing, or a related role, preferably within a global brand.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis – Conduct thorough research and analysis of the South African market to identify trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive landscape.
  • Strategy Development – Develop comprehensive brand strategies that align with global brand objectives and resonate with the local market.
  • Brand Positioning
  • Define and refine the brand’s positioning in the South African market to ensure it stands out from competitors and appeals to target audiences.
  • Campaign Planning – Collaborate with marketing, creative, and digital teams to plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns that effectively communicate the brand’s message.
  • Consumer Insights – Gather and analyze consumer insights to inform strategic decisions and improve brand relevance and engagement.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration – Work closely with global brand teams to ensure consistency in brand messaging and strategy across all markets.
  • Performance Tracking – Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of brand strategies and campaigns, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
