Job Description

About the Role

As an Agile Delivery Lead in our Cape Town City Centre office, you will be responsible for creating and owning a clear consolidated Investment Technology roadmap for a renowned Independent Asset Management Firm. You will coach teams on Agile best practices and a product mindset, define, embed, and track metrics and KPIs to demonstrate meaningful outcomes while sustaining and continuously improving the Agile ways of working across Investment Technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Agile Practices and Product Mindset
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Strategic Leadership

Requirements

  • Proven Agile delivery leadership – hands-on experience leading Agile programmes across multiple teams or value streams, ideally in a Financial Services or Investment Management environment.
  • Road mapping and portfolio co-ordination skills – the ability to consolidate delivery across complex, interdependent workstreams into a single, coherent view that is credible at both team and executive level.
  • Stakeholder confidence – a track record of engaging senior sponsors and leadership with clarity, translating delivery data into narrative that drives decisions rather than just reporting status.
  • Agile coaching experience – practical experience embedding Agile practices, supporting Product Owners with backlog prioritisation, and fostering a product mindset across delivery teams.
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills – comfort working across technology, investment, and business teams, managing dependencies and removing blockers without direct authority.
  • DevSecOps awareness – familiarity with continuous integration and delivery principles and the ability to champion their adoption within value stream teams.
  • A data-driven approach to delivery – experience defining and tracking KPIs and delivery metrics that demonstrate outcomes rather than just activity.
