Job Summary

Job Summary

Job Description: Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including reviewing and verifying incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness, coding to appropriate accounts and entering data into the accounting system Maintain accurate vendor records, resolve invoice or payment discrepancies through vendor communication and ensure compliance with vendor contracts Prepare and document payment runs, reconcile vendor statements and promptly address any payment issues Perform regular account reconciliations, investigate variances and generate summary reports on payable activities Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and produce financial reports as required Skills & Experience: Background in accounting (understand the accounting side of things) Experience in a manufacturing environment Qualification: Matric (Required) Additional training in accounting will be beneficial Connect with us on

Job Summary

Accurately issue credit notes after verifying claims, maintaining a strong focus on detail and compliance Update customer information in financial systems, including payment terms, discounts, and contractual agreements Ensure monthly statements are distributed to clients within set deadlines Track customer payments to ensure they align with agreed credit terms and remain within approved limits Withhold discounts from clients who fail to meet payment deadlines Process daily incoming payments and ensure accurate recording Provide requested documentation such as invoices and delivery confirmations to customers as needed. Respond promptly to queries from clients via phone or email, and ensure all issues are resolved efficiently Reconcile customer accounts regularly to maintain accuracy and completeness Actively pursue overdue payments and maintain communication with defaulting customers Alert the sales team when a clients account is on hold or suspended Ensure customer remittance advices are received on time each month Participate in weekly debtors reviews with the Finance Manager, discussing outstanding accounts and risks Notify the Finance Manager of any accounts showing signs of risk or non-payment Obtain prior approval before suspending accounts or setting up alternative payment arrangements Confirm any rebate updates in writing from the sales team before applying changes Be ready to assist with the responsibilities of fellow credit controllers when required Carry out other finance-related tasks and projects as directed Skills & Experience: Experience working with stock (retail hardware sector experience is essential) Exceptional attention to detail Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines Proactive, positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills Ability to work well under pressure Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in MS Word, Excel (especially pivot tables), and Outlook Experience with accounting software (Acumatica experience is a plus) Contact Refiloe Mofokeng on

Job Summary

Job Objectives This critical group of employees must be able to maintain a caring, efficient, knowledgeable and effective interface with customers at all times, resolve customer queries and maximise cash collection across the board within credit terms to minimize disconnections. This important role must ensure that all credit control responsibilities and duties are carried out accurately and within set time limits, whilst providing a first class service to all our customers. The credit controller must manage overdue accounts, reduce the companies risk and minimise losses. Daily management of debts and collections effective, systematic and prompt follow up of outstanding debt Debtor account reconciliations rectifying of previously mishandled accounts Convert cash paying accounts to debit order thereby improving cash flow Attend to all customer queries internal staff & external clients by providing accurate advice on billing queries Submit credit requests to Collections/Credit Control Manager for approval Report to management on outstanding issues and inform them early of potential debtors problems Job Skills Excellent communication skills (Verbal and written) Good telephone etiquette (Assertive, yet diplomatic) Strong negotiation skills Highly organized Excellent problem solving ability Strong time-management skills Must be deadline driven Ability to work as part of the team Must be stress tolerant Computer literate Minimum Requirements Grade 12 Strong credit control experience Preferably 2 years debtors and telecommunication industry experience Preferably in a customer centric environment
