About the Role

The Cape Town City Centre: IT Governance Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the organisation’s IT systems are aligned with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and business objectives. This position requires an experienced professional with a strong background in IT governance, audit, compliance, or risk management to design and implement comprehensive IT governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive IT governance frameworks aligned with industry standards
  • Develop IT policies, procedures, and standards across the organisation
  • Create governance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Ensure alignment between IT strategy and business objectives
  • Monitor compliance with IT-related regulations
  • Conduct IT risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
  • Oversee IT audit activities and coordinate with internal/external auditors
  • Manage IT compliance reporting and documentation
  • Develop and monitor IT performance metrics and dashboards

Requirements
