About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and organised Hotel Room Attendant to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across all guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards
  • Prepare rooms efficiently for arrivals, stayovers, and departures
  • Ensure all guest amenities are correctly replenished
  • Maintain high cleanliness and presentation standards in bedrooms and bathrooms
  • Ensure linen, surfaces, and furnishings are presented impeccably
  • Assist with cleaning corridors, service areas, and assigned public spaces when required
  • Identify and report maintenance issues, damages, or room defects promptly

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years current housekeeping experience within a hotel environment
  • Strong understanding of hotel room cleaning standards and procedures
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and good time management skills
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
