About the Role

Our client, a fast-paced and growing organisation, is seeking a highly driven Human Resources Operations Specialist to join their team. This role is suited to an experienced HR professional who enjoys the operational and specialist side of people management and building scalable people processes across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate onboarding across multiple business entities.
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding and probation experience for all new employees.
  • Track probation milestones and ensure all reviews and documentation are completed timeously.
  • Manage offboarding processes, exit documentation, and employee records.
  • Prepare IR documentation including warnings, counselling records, suspension notices, and hearing documentation.
  • Compile disciplinary hearing packs and CCMA bundles.
  • Maintain accurate IR records, trackers, and registers.
  • Support labour law compliance and related submissions across the business.
  • Conduct culture fit and competency-based interviews for junior-level positions.
  • Provide structured interview feedback and recommendations.
  • Assist with interview guides, scorecards, and recruitment process improvements.
  • Maintain HR reports, dashboards, trackers, and operational registers.
  • Draft and refine policies, SOPs, and operational HR processes.
  • Drive process improvements and support digital HR workflows and automation initiatives.
  • Coordinate and execute people initiatives including wellness, engagement, culture, and development projects.

Requirements

Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Labour Law, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years’ HR or People Operations experience within a generalist or operational environment.

Strong exposure to industrial relations administration and labour legislation.
