About the Role

Kuzuko Lodge, a Private Game Reserve and Five Star Lodge in the Eastern Cape, is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations. As part of our social enterprise mission, we aim to create jobs while rewilding and restoring the land. We are looking for a team member who shares our vision of social upliftment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining an excellent standard of service within the Restaurant
  • Working closely with the Head Chef to ensure a seamless standard or service at all times
  • Day-to-day management of the Restaurant team including rostering and planning
  • Managing of Restaurant stock
  • Overseeing and implanting regular training to ensure consistently high standards
  • Working closely with the F&B Manager and Head Chef to implement new dining experiences at the lodge and in the bush

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a 5-star property
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and inspire teams
  • Strong understanding of F&B
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional demeanor and a genuine passion for hospitality
  • Experience working with Semper or similar POS and PMS system
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evening, weekends and public holidays
