About the Role
The Junior Paraplanner role at Kanan Wealth provides essential support to advisors across three core areas, requiring strong administrative skills and attention to detail. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing client records, preparing financial analysis, and providing exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide essential support across three core areas: Advisor Administrative Support Process
- Submit investment and life assurance applications (including work with platforms such as Allan Gray)
- Perform accurate data capturing and maintain up-to-date client records in CRM systems
- Manage general administrative tasks related to client investment and assurance portfolios
- Prepare clear, accurate comparisons of life assurance policies for advisors to review
- Assist advisors in drafting professional advice emails and supporting documentation
- Conduct basic Excel-based financial analysis and calculations
- Handle straightforward client queries confidently and courteously over the telephone
- Maintain friendly, professional relationships with clients during routine interactions
Requirements
- Proven competence in administrative work related to investments and/or life assurances
- Exceptional attention to detail and a precise, thorough approach to all tasks
- Very strong computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and CRM platforms
- Solid grasp of basic financial mathematics
- Comfortable and confident speaking directly with clients on the phone in a professional yet approachable manner
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with little ongoing supervision

Salary & Benefits
Up to R30,000 per month (based on experience and demonstrated capability), plus life cover and income protection benefits.
