About the Role

The Junior Paraplanner role at Kanan Wealth provides essential support to advisors across three core areas, requiring strong administrative skills and attention to detail. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing client records, preparing financial analysis, and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide essential support across three core areas: Advisor Administrative Support Process
  • Submit investment and life assurance applications (including work with platforms such as Allan Gray)
  • Perform accurate data capturing and maintain up-to-date client records in CRM systems
  • Manage general administrative tasks related to client investment and assurance portfolios
  • Prepare clear, accurate comparisons of life assurance policies for advisors to review
  • Assist advisors in drafting professional advice emails and supporting documentation
  • Conduct basic Excel-based financial analysis and calculations
  • Handle straightforward client queries confidently and courteously over the telephone
  • Maintain friendly, professional relationships with clients during routine interactions

Requirements

  • Proven competence in administrative work related to investments and/or life assurances
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a precise, thorough approach to all tasks
  • Very strong computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and CRM platforms
  • Solid grasp of basic financial mathematics
  • Comfortable and confident speaking directly with clients on the phone in a professional yet approachable manner
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with little ongoing supervision

Salary & Benefits

Up to R30,000 per month (based on experience and demonstrated capability), plus life cover and income protection benefits.
