About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Secretary to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to attorneys in a fast-paced litigation environment, ensuring seamless court proceedings and efficient case management.
Key Responsibilities
- Typing and drafting of legal documents and correspondence
- Managing litigation files and court documentation
- Liaising with courts, counsel, and clients
- Diary management and court deadlines
- Filing, indexing, and general litigation administration
- Assisting attorneys with trial preparation and urgent applications
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Litigation Secretary
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
- Strong experience in litigation procedures and legal secretarial work
- Must not hold an LLB degree
- Must not be currently studying towards an LLB degree
