About the Role

We are seeking a senior, business-facing Business Intelligence leader who combines deep technical expertise with hands-on delivery and light-touch team leadership. This role is accountable for facilitating world-class BI delivery for the business, ensuring insights are timely, trusted, and directly support investment decision-making, risk management, and portfolio oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the senior technical authority for BI, setting best practices, standards, and design principles across the BI estate.
Coordinate and guide a small team of BI Analysts, balancing hands-on delivery with review, mentoring, and technical direction.
Remain an active contributor, owning and delivering complex, high-impact dashboards, reports, and data models.
Review and assure BI outputs to ensure they meet agreed standards for accuracy, performance, usability, and consistency.
Facilitate effective ways of working across the BI team, including prioritization, estimation, and delivery cadence.
Support skills development and knowledge sharing to uplift overall team capability.

Requirements

10 years of experience in BI, analytics, or data roles, ideally within asset management, private markets, or financial services.
Expert-level experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik, including enterprise-scale deployments.
Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (preferably Azure: Synapse, Fabric, Data Factory).
Advanced SQL skills for complex querying, optimization, and data validation.
Strong experience designing analytical data models (e.g. star and snowflake schemas).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
