About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Broker to join our team in Cape Town City Centre, responsible for driving sales growth and delivering exceptional client experiences. As a key member of our sales team, you will be expected to prospect new business, build strong relationships with clients, and promote new launches to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting for new business from new clients and mining the stores database
  • Educating prospective clients on the value proposition of owning physical gold
  • Transacting sales using the Company’s sales processes and system
  • Promoting new launches with existing and potential clients
  • Ensuring that client needs are properly diagnosed and explaining why they are buying gold coins
  • Attending to client enquiries and providing feedback on deliveries and payments as necessary
  • Greeting clients and making them feel comfortable
  • Following the company’s processes properly to ensure a great client experience
  • Opening and closing the store
  • Cleaning the store
  • Merchandising (putting the product out and packing it away)
  • Stock control (two stock takes a day)
  • Safeguarding the Company’s property and keys to the store
  • Being vigilant and attentive to security risks such as fraud

Requirements

  • Strong track record in sales, particularly demonstrating networking and prospecting capabilities
  • Well presented, well spoken, and likeable
  • Ability to build and maintain positive client and team member relationships
  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Willingness to follow Company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Consistent in efforts
  • Healthy, sober, and energetic
  • Enjoy learning (about clients, products, the economy, news, and gold)
