About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Market Intelligence Analyst to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our market intelligence department, you will be responsible for providing actionable insights that inform business decisions and drive growth. Your expertise in market intelligence, strategy, or research will enable you to make a significant impact on our organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends and competitor activity
- Develop and maintain databases of key industry players and their strategies
- Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to identify insights and opportunities for growth
- Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders through executive-level presentations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate market intelligence into business strategy
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in market intelligence, strategy, or research ideally within media, entertainment, or a related sector
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work across quantitative and qualitative data
- Proven track record of influencing decisions at a senior level through insight
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Proficiency with tools such as BARB, GfK, Comscore, Nielsen, Mintel, or similar
