About the Role
We are seeking a driven Technical Sales / Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our client’s newly formalised commercial structure. This role is designed for highly motivated, commercially minded individuals who thrive on autonomy and ownership. You will be given the freedom and responsibility to build your own pipeline, grow revenue, and develop accounts as if running your own small business within the company – with clear accountability for results and the opportunity to directly influence our growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strategy for the company to reach its goals
- Manage the flow of day-to-day operations
- Achieve consistent year-on-year sales growth by leading, growing, and maximising Sales
- Track sales targets and report to management
- Provide realistic forecasts to management
- Network, develop, and build good client relations
- Promote and maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure retention and satisfaction
- Represent the brand and take pride in your appearance
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales
- Take full ownership of the growth strategy and be responsible for achieving targets as identified through proactive relationship building with existing and prospective clients
- Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information for sales pitches
- Maintain a thorough understanding of market trends and pricing
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to clarify project needs
Requirements
- Matric
- Relevant National Diploma or degree (an advantage)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience working in the private security sector (advantageous)
- Experience within the ANPR sector (advantageous)
- Driver’s License (Code 8) (own vehicle advantageous)
