As a Conventional Turner, you will use your expertise in operating conventional lathes and other machinery to create precision parts and components.

Responsibilities: 

• Set up and operate conventional lathes and other equipment to perform turning operations
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Select and use appropriate cutting tools and materials for each job
• Monitor and control machining processes to ensure product quality and accuracy
• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
• Adhere to safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production and meet deadlines

Requirements: 

• Proven experience as a Conventional Turner
• 0.2 Tolerances
• Proficient in operating conventional lathes and other turning machinery
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, and materials
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant trade qualification or certification is preferred
