Job Description

A well-established and reputable construction and engineering firm operating within the civil and infrastructure sector, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing projects from a commercial perspective and will be expected to run projects independently.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities

  • Manage project costs, valuations, variations, and final accounts

  • Administer and manage contracts (FIDIC and/or NEC preferred)

  • Monitor project progress and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle

  • Liaise with clients, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders

  • Prepare monthly cost reports and forecasts

  • Ensure compliance with contractual and statutory requirements

Requirements

  • BSc in Quantity Surveying or a related qualification

  • Minimum of 58 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor

  • Proven experience in civil engineering projects

  • GCC advantageous

  • Strong working knowledge of FIDIC and/or NEC contracts

  • Experience running projects independently

  • Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills
