About the Role
Hire Resolve’s Client, a leading Beverage Manufacturing Company, is seeking a dedicated Junior Accountant to join their team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will provide support and assistance to the finance team, playing a crucial role in ensuring the company’s financial stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Process invoices, receipts, and other financial documents
- Assist in the maintenance of financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Prepare journal entries and ensure accuracy and completeness
- Assist in the preparation for financial audits and work with auditors as needed
- Help with payroll processing and other accounting tasks as assigned
- Collaborate with other members of the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 1-2 years of work experience in accounting or a related field
- SAICA Articles completed would be advantageous
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and concepts
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

- Competitive salary and benefits package (salary range: R400,000 – R500,000 per annum)
