Job Description
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, coordination, and execution of low-cost housing projects. You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and government officials to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of low-cost housing projects
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Manage project resources, including contractors and subcontractors
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including government officials and community members
- Identify and address any project-related issues or challenges
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management, specifically in low-cost housing
- Experience working in a consulting firm
- PMP Registered – preferred
- Extensive knowledge of low-cost housing construction practices and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership abilities and ability to work effectively with diverse teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in project management software
- Experience working with government agencies and understanding of government regulations and processes
