About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SAICA Graduate Accountant to join our team in Gauteng. As a recent graduate or advanced student, you will have the opportunity to work under the guidance of experienced Chartered Accountants and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work under the guidance of experienced Chartered Accountants / SAIPA Professional Accountants / Registered Auditors.
- Hands-on working environment with active participation in all aspects of rendering services to clients.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns.
- Conduct audits and assurance engagements in compliance with auditing standards.
- Participate in client meetings and liaise with clients on financial matters.
- Develop a strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and auditing procedures.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Work collaboratively with team members to deliver high-quality services to clients.
Requirements
- Completed SAICA accredited Undergraduate Degree or at an advanced stage of completion.
- Preference to be given to candidates who have recently completed their SAICA Training contracts (Articles) at a small firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors.
- Advanced CaseWare experience, tax software, MS Office, accounting programs, and e-Filing.
