About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SAIPA Graduate Accountant with Completed Articles to join our team at Sharon Nurock Recruitment cc in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have recently completed their SAIPA training contract (Articles) at a small firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors, and possess advanced technical skills in accounting software and tax preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Work under the guidance of experienced Chartered Accountants / SAIPA Professional Accountants / Registered Auditors.
- Participate in all aspects of rendering services to clients in a hands-on working environment.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns.
- Conduct audits and assurance engagements in compliance with auditing standards.
- Liaise with clients on financial matters during client meetings.
- Develop a strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and auditing procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality services to clients.
Requirements
- SAIPA accredited B.Com, or at an advanced stage of completion.
- Advanced CaseWare experience, tax software, MS Office, accounting programs, and e-Filing.
Qualifications
- Formal education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) from a recognized institution.
