About the Role
As a Sales Coordinator at Mama Shelter, you are the heartbeat of our business, driving sales and growth while ensuring seamless customer experiences. With a passion for hospitality and sales, you’ll connect clients to Mama, bring opportunities to life, and make sure every detail behind the scenes is precision-driven with personality.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Support Superstar: Support the Sales Manager in driving business, managing enquiries, preparing quotes, and keeping the pipeline moving.
- Revenue Driver: Maximise occupancy and rates by supporting strong sales strategies, upselling, and cross-selling across Mama’s spaces.
- Client Experience Creator: Be the go-to contact for corporate, STO, and group clients building relationships and ensuring seamless communication.
- Site Visit & Experience Coordinator: Coordinate and support site inspections showcasing Mama in the best possible way.
- Systems & Data Pro: Manage systems, reports, and market data from daily pick-up reports to sales activity tracking.
- Communication Queen/King: Ensure all client communication, proposals, and rate updates are accurate, timely, and on brand.
- Collaboration Ninja: Work closely with Reservations, Front Office, and Revenue teams to ensure a seamless journey from enquiry to stay.
- Market & Strategy Support: Assist in analysing market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies to keep Mama competitive.
- Organisation Guru: Keep sales systems, files, planners, and admin running like clockwork – no chaos here!
- Brand Ambassador: Represent Mama at trade shows, events, and client meetings bringing the vibe to the market.
- Trust Keeper: Handle all client and business information with the highest level of confidentiality.
Requirements
- At least 3 years experience in Sales within a hospitality environment.
- Understanding of sales strategies, upselling, and revenue generation.
- Highly organised and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence using systems like OPERA and Microsoft Office.
- Great people skills, building relationships naturally.
- Clear communication both written and verbal.
- Proactive, detail-driven, and solutions-focused.
Qualifications
- Hospitality or Sales qualification (desirable).
- Experience in lifestyle or pre-opening hotels (desirable).
- Commercial awareness and data-savviness (desirable).
