Job Description
Our client is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Sales Representative (6 Month Contract) to join their team in the Western and Northern Cape . This junior to mid-level role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who enjoys working independently, building strong business-to-business relationships, and achieving sales targets while traveling within the region. The client is actively looking to appoint a suitable candidate as soon as possible.
This position focuses on B2B sales within the liquor and chemical industry sectors, requiring a proactive approach to client acquisition, client retention, and territory management. The successful candidate will be target-driven, hardworking, and confident in managing customer relationships while promoting products and services effectively.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years business-to-business sales experience
- Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle
- Fluency in Afrikaans, English, and Xhosa
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong client retention and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and target-driven
- Willingness to travel regularly within the Western and Northern Cape
- Knowledge of chemicals and/or the liquor industry will be advantageous
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct business-to-business sales and promote products within the assigned territory
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business
- Identify new business opportunities and grow the customer base
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets
- Provide product knowledge and support to clients
- Maintain accurate records and reports using Microsoft Office tools
- Travel to client sites and manage territory effectively
Remuneration
- Basic salary: R15,000 per month
- Performance-based bonus and commission structure
