About the Role
Seigo Staffing Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and consulting engineering, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects and leading teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project teams and lead engineering activities for consulting engineering services
- Design and develop fire protection, wet services, and HVAC systems
- Conduct rational fire assessments on new and existing buildings
- Collaborate with other design engineering disciplines to deliver comprehensive solutions
- Compile and submit tenders and proposals for procuring consulting engineering work
- Travel within and outside RSA borders as required
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree or Bachelor of Science Degree or Bachelor of Technology Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer/Technologist or in a position to register
- At least 8 years of post-qualification experience in the consulting engineering sector, including FMCG, Building Services and Industrial Engineering Experience
