About the Role

The Fundraising Operations Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting our organization’s fundraising efforts, ensuring seamless donor engagement and stewardship, while maintaining accurate records and databases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture and manage daily donations across multiple platforms
  • Ensure timely donor acknowledgements and tax certificates (S18A)
  • Maintain accurate donor records and reporting
  • Support donor stewardship and relationship building
  • Volunteer Programme Co-ordination
  • Coordinate and promote national volunteer initiatives
  • Engage with corporates, schools, and community groups
  • Facilitate volunteer bookings, communication, and event hosting
  • Maintain and update the volunteer database
  • Events, Campaigns & Marketing Support
  • Assist with planning and execution of events and campaigns
  • Coordinate suppliers, logistics, and registrations
  • Capture content (photos/videos) to support marketing efforts
  • Manage marketing materials and asset distribution
  • General Support
  • Maintain stakeholder databases and information systems
  • Manage shared inbox communications
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to the team
  • Assist leadership with ad hoc support when required

Requirements

  • Grade 12 minimum
  • 3 years working experience in an admin support role
  • Previous exposure to NGO engagement (ESSENTIAL)
  • Tertiary qualification (advantageous)
  • Marketing, Event planning and coordination experience (advantageous)
  • Attention to detail – highly organised
  • Passion for social impact and community development
  • Valid driver’s licence
