About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Co-Ordinator to support our Digital Environment projects in Cape Town. As a key member of our team, you will assist the Project Manager during project development and completion, while also monitoring progress and providing documentation as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager during the development of major projects from commencement to completion.
- Monitor progress of the development projects within their area of responsibility and assist the Project Managers with the documentation when necessary.
- Allocate 50% of time to each of the Sales Portal and improved Self-service projects.
- Support the Project Manager across the entire project lifecycle.
- Engage with stakeholders in Digital.
Requirements
- Proven track record of working in a project environment as a Project Co-Ordinator.
- Knowledge of Project governance and project lifecycle requirements.
- Previous experience supporting project activities (Resource Planning, Budget Management, Project Planning).
- 6-10 years of experience working in Financial Services (prefer Insurance).
- Scrum Master and/or Junior Project Manager experience and skills (advantageous).
- Sound understanding of system development life-cycle.
- Agile training and experience working in Scrum or Kanban framework (advantageous).
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, strong financial/budgeting skills.
