This role will see you managing the full lifecycle of E,C&I work packages—including design coordination, procurement oversight, construction supervision, risk control, and contract administration. You will ensure statutory compliance, uphold quality standards, align deliverables with project scope, and maintain strong stakeholder engagement across multiple interfaces.
You will operate in a matrix project environment and lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery, cost control, technical accuracy, and safety excellence. The role demands a proactive professional with strong leadership, problemsolving capability, and deep technical understanding of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems in mining environments.
Education:
- BSc / BTech in Electrical Engineering
- PMP / PRINCE II (advantageous)
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in E,C&I engineering design, construction management, and project management within mining EPCM environments
- Strong technical knowledge of:
HT overhead lines, switching stations, MV substations, MCCs, transformers, MV/LT reticulation, earthing systems, network architecture, VOIP, microwave communication towers - Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong contract management and administration experience (FIDIC / NEC)
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, scope changes and risk
- Excellent communication, report writing, and stakeholder engagement capability
- Experience leading and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Ability to manage procurement technical packs and quality management processes
- Strong understanding of MHSA, OHSA, and NEMA compliance requirements
