About the Role

Network Finance is seeking a skilled Power Engineer to join our team in the Western Cape region. As a key member of our electrical engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting the design, analysis, and optimisation of power systems, as well as assisting with various aspects of electrical system design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design, analysis, and optimisation of electrical power systems.
  • Assist with engineering work related to Low Voltage (LV), Medium Voltage (MV), and High Voltage (HV) electrical systems.
  • Participate in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and power infrastructure.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and engineering drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams during project execution.
  • Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and operational phases.

Requirements

  • BEng in Electrical Engineering.
  • 1–2 years’ experience working with power systems, including LV, MV, and HV networks.
  • Exposure to testing and commissioning of electrical systems or power infrastructure.
  • Understanding of electrical protection systems and power distribution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a project team environment.
