About the Role
A leading water purification solutions company is seeking an experienced Senior Salesperson with a proven sales track record, exceptional product knowledge, and ability to identify and close new business opportunities across residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural markets in Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development through proactive lead generation and market expansion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure high service levels and identify upsell opportunities.
- Provide expert product advice on water purification systems, including point-of-use, point-of-entry, borehole treatment, and industrial solutions.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and recommend suitable products or systems.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial engagement to deal closure.
- Stay up to date with product developments, technologies, and industry trends.
- Work independently, managing your schedule and sales pipeline effectively.
- Collaborate with a highly motivated team to support overall business growth.
Requirements
- Grade 12 Senior Certificate.
- Minimum 3 years experience in sales administration or sales.
- Strong technical orientation; plumbing, electrical, or engineering background advantageous.
- Retail sales experience required.
- Excellent communication skills with strong customer service focus.
- Proficient in computer literacy and administrative accuracy.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Must have own reliable transport.
