Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the technical design and architecture of projects, ensuring they align with the organization’s strategic goals and objectives.
2. Provide expertise and guidance on all technical aspects of design and implementation, including software development, infrastructure, security, and scalability.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
4. Mentor and coach junior team members on best practices and technologies.
5. Implement and enforce coding standards and best practices.
6. Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members.
7. Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and methodologies, and make recommendations for improvements.
8. Participate in the recruitment of technical talent.
9. Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
2. Must be a registered Professional Architect or Senior Architectural Technologist.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Senior Technologist/Architect role.
4. Strong expertise in software development, systems architecture, and database design.
5. Proficiency in a variety of programming languages and technologies.
6. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
8. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
9. Experience in project management and Agile methodologies is a plus.
