About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Field Guide to join our team at a luxurious 5-star boutique lodge on a private concession within the Pilanesberg National Park. As a Senior Field Guide, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional and safe wilderness experience for discerning guests, with a focus on both game drives and guided walking trails.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead game drives (50% of role)
- Lead guided walking trails (50% of role)
- Provide a high-end wilderness experience for guests
- Ensure guest safety and well-being at all times
- Collaborate with the guiding team to deliver exceptional experiences
Requirements
- FGASA NQF4 (Level 2) – essential
- Full Lead Trails Guide qualification – essential
- Valid ARH certificate
- Valid SASSETA registration
- Valid First Aid certificate
- Valid PrDP and NDT registration
- Minimum 3 years’ experience guiding in a Big 5 environment within a luxury lodge setting
