About the Role

Kiboko Adventures, a leading Southern African tour operator, is seeking a motivated and reliable Workshop Assistant to join our team at our workshop in Philippi, Cape Town. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our workshops.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of camping tours prior to departure.
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment upon return from tours.
• Collecting and delivering parts, equipment, and other workshop-related items as required.
• Assisting the Workshop Foreman and Mechanic with daily workshop operations.
• Performing any additional duties reasonably assigned by the Workshop Foreman.

Requirements

• Have a clean criminal record.
• Be a South African citizen or possess a valid work permit authorising employment and residence in South Africa.
• Hold a Matric certificate.
• Be a team player with a positive work ethic.
• Possess a valid driver’s licence (Code 10 or Code 14 will be advantageous).
• Be willing to perform hands-on work in a workshop environment.
