About the Role
Hire Resolve is partnering with a leading Insurer to bring on board an experienced Actuarial Analyst to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting various Corporate Actuarial functions, including earnings and regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and validate monthly and ad-hoc data extracts used for valuations and reporting.
- Analyse historic experience for the purpose of setting valuation bases and improving forecast results.
- Run monthly reporting and valuation processes.
- Provide input for quarterly financial valuations on the various reporting bases.
- Involvement in the analysis and presentation of quarterly earnings and valuation results.
Requirements
- BSc Actuarial Science, Statistics or Mathematics
- Completed 5+ ASSA Exams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- 0-2 years experience in the Actuarial space
Qualifications
- BSc Actuarial Science, Statistics or Mathematics
