About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our B2B enterprise pipeline and GTM strategy, leveraging their expertise in IT services, AIOps, observability, SaaS, or managed services to drive growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Account Targeting: Identify and prioritize high-value enterprise accounts within defined verticals
- Map key decision-makers (CIO, CTO, IT Operations, Digital Transformation leadership)
- Develop structured outreach strategies aligned to the business positioning
- Lead initial executive-level discovery conversations using disciplined qualification frameworks
- Validate strategic alignment, budget, authority, urgency, and competitive context
- Disqualify non-enterprise or low-probability opportunities early
- Collaborate with marketing on targeted activation strategies
- Contribute to messaging refinement and thought leadership
- Support account-based engagement campaigns
- Identify industry engagement and awareness opportunities
- Positioning and Narrative Reinforcement: Articulate the business’ differentiated Next Generation ISP positioning
- Formal Handover to Sales Executive: Prepare comprehensive opportunity briefs including stakeholder maps and qualification summaries
- Participate in internal deal review sessions
- Ensure clean and structured transition of ownership
- Market Intelligence Feedback: Provide structured feedback on buyer objections and competitor positioning
Requirements
- 5 – 10 years B2B enterprise technology prospecting experience
- Experience engaging large enterprise clients
- Background in IT services, AIOps, observability, SaaS, or managed services
- Demonstrated ability to qualify complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities
- Familiarity with structured enterprise sales methodologies

- Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.)
