Job Description
- Contribute to project plans, statements of work, and labour estimates for test bench development projects
- Define lower-level hardware requirements for test benches
- Perform high-level architectural design and detailed design, establishing the manufacturing baseline
- Lead scheduling, procurement, and assembly activities
- Coordinate mechanical design and assembly drawings
- Oversee and participate in integration, testing, and qualification activities
- Prepare and maintain all required documentation in line with development processes
- Manage configuration and version control of baselines
- Support troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of test benches
Expected Experience & Qualifications
Qualifications
- B.Eng. Degree (Electronics) or equivalent
Experience
- 5+ years in test equipment and unit test integration
- 10+ years in test system development and electronic circuit design
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with National Instruments and general test equipment
- Familiarity with MW and RF test equipment
- Strong grasp of signal integrity concepts
- Electronic hardware design; schematic capturing and PCB layout (advantageous)
- Beneficial: C# development skills
Competencies
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding ability
- Skilled in requirements analysis, test system architecture, and hardware design
- Effective technical team leadership experience
