About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our restaurant operations in Durban, ensuring consistency and excellence in all aspects of the business. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and drive growth and improvement across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Stay tuned in with emerging trends that will affect the business
- Demonstrate ownership and accountability by consistently improving restaurant operating standards and taking the necessary corrective action
- Monitor poor performing restaurants
- Implement and execute corrective action plans to improve poor operating or low profitability restaurants
- Ensure standards and regulation compliance of the Ops team
- Identify and communicate operational and financial risks and create corrective action plans
- Monitor and improve restaurant profitability
- Submit daily, weekly and monthly & other required reports on a timely basis
- Provide leadership, coaching & strategic direction to restaurant management teams
Requirements
- Proven experience at a Multisite Management level
- Tertiary qualification advantageous
- Strong Leadership ability
- Ability to delegate and manage down effectively
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- High attention to detail and process driven
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Discretion and integrity
- Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
- Stress tolerance
- Decision-making
- Strong market knowledge and experience in working across various functions, businesses and regions
- Previous knowledge of Micros advantageous
