About the Role
Our Client is seeking a Candidate Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Durban. This role offers an opportunity for individuals with a strong academic background and willingness to learn to develop professionally, within a project-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior quantity surveyors with measurements, cost estimates and tender documentation.
- Support with procurement processes, contractor evaluations and bill of quantities preparation.
- Conduct site visits and assist with progress reporting.
- Help maintain project cost control, valuations, and payment certificates.
- Perform administrative support tasks as required within the QS team.
Requirements
- BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying completed
- Strong academic record with consistently good results
- Willingness to learn, develop professionally, and work within a project-driven environment
- Good analytical, numerical, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work methodically
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
