About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and tech-savvy Executive Assistant to provide exceptional support to our executive team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be proactive, digitally fluent, and confident managing confidential information while streamlining workflows using technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex calendars, scheduling meetings across time zones where required
- Coordinate travel arrangements, itineraries, accommodation, and expenses
- Prepare agendas, presentations, reports, and briefing documents
- Act as gatekeeper for emails, calls, and meeting requests
- Draft professional correspondence and internal communications
- Confident use of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive)
- Manage virtual meetings (Teams/Zoom), including set-up and troubleshooting
- Maintain digital filing systems and cloud-based document management
- Operational & Coordination Support
- Liaise with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders
- Track actions, deadlines, and follow-ups
- Support project coordination and reporting
- Assist with event planning, workshops, and board meetings
Requirements
- 2 years experience as an Executive Assistant or Senior Personal Assistant
- Strong digital literacy and confidence adopting new tools and systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced organisational and time-management abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to anticipate needs and work independently
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
