About the Role
The BI Department Project Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role focused on Dis-Chem Media project management, compliance, and campaign execution. This position serves as the primary liaison between NPA and Dis-Chem Media, ensuring smooth project delivery and timely resolution of issues.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end management of Dis-Chem Media campaigns
- Work closely with other Business Intelligence team members involved in various campaign capacities
- Act as primary contact for Dis-Chem Media, responding to queries via email and phone
- Provide campaign details to the Operations Team and in-store Merchandisers to ensure correct execution
- Support all BI activities alongside other BI team members
- Work with systems and tools including Rubecor, Repsly, and the Dis-Chem Media Dashboard
- Maintain and update Route Lists
- Assist with Special Projects
- Communicate with Operations Department and Management during weekly meetings
- Maintain Route Lists and Master Data
- Update Route Lists for Representatives and Regional Managers in Rubecon and Repsly
- Maintain internal Cover Sheets and Merchandising lists
- Update and distribute the monthly Dis-Chem sheet
- Support and understand all Business Intelligence processes
- Perform any other duties not specified but deemed necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, or a related field
- 12 years of experience in analytics, including supervisory duties
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry-related databases and web applications
- Own reliable vehicle for travel to Dis-Chem and Baby City stores
- Ability to travel nationally on an ad-hoc basis (e.g., quarterly flights to Durban)
- Efficient management of Dis-Chem Media projects and audit platforms
- Accurate and timely reporting and project management
- Administrative tasks kept up-to-date and accurate
