About the Role
My client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Group Accountant (CA(SA)) to join our growing organization based in Durban South. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong technical accounting expertise and experience in group reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of group consolidations for multiple branches
- Preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant IFRS and statutory requirements
- Preparation and submission of income tax returns
- Liaising with auditors, tax consultants, and other stakeholders
- Providing technical accounting support across the group
Requirements
- Qualified CA(SA)
- 1-3 years of commercial exposure as a group accountant
- Strong knowledge and practical application of IFRS
- Proven experience with group consolidations and financial reporting
- Solid understanding of income tax and related compliance
- High level of accuracy, analytical ability, and attention to detail
