Duties and responsibilities: Actively contribute to Exco discussions/decision-making as a trusted financial leader and provide financial insight to guide group strategy, business development, and operational execution. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for the Group. Prepare consolidated financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) in compliance with IFRS. Ensure compliance with SARS requirements (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax, Provisional Tax). Oversee statutory audit processes, manage relationships with external auditors, and implement audit recommendations. Maintain integrity of the general ledger and oversee financial processes at each operating company. Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles for the Group. Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario planning, investment evaluation, and project costing. Oversee financial systems (Pastel Partner / Sage / other) and ensure integration with operational systems. Build, mentor, and lead the finance team across sites, ensuring a culture of accountability, professionalism, and excellence. Requirements: Degree in Accounting/Finance (CA(SA) or equivalent qualification preferred). Minimum 710 years progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years in a group accounting or senior finance leadership role (manufacturing environment preferred). IFRS expertise, strong knowledge of SARS compliance, experience in group consolidations and intercompany reconciliations, advanced Excel and ERP/Accounting system proficiency (Pastel Partner / Sage).
