About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate GIS Developer to join our team in Durban. As a key member of our Geospatial Solutions department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing geospatial solutions using Esri ArcGIS Enterprise product range e.g., – ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server (basic administration and managing map services), Geodatabase design and implementation, exposure to mobile app development. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement geospatial solutions using Esri ArcGIS Enterprise product range
  • Manage map services and perform spatial analysis
  • Design and implement Geodatabases
  • Exposure to mobile app development

Requirements

  • At least two years’ experience in C# development
  • Experience in Web Development with JavaScript and/or Angular frameworks
  • A good understanding of HTML and CSS for UI design
  • Database design and development: MS SQL Server/Oracle/Postgres
  • Ability to accurately estimate effort for deliverables
  • An understanding of agile tools and techniques
  • Azure DevOps
  • Python

Qualifications

Degree/diploma in Computer Science/Geo-informatics from a recognized institution or comparative qualification e.g. MSCD / MSPD
