An established financial planning practice based in Durban is looking for a professional, detail-oriented Paraplanner to join their high-performing team. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong experience in financial advice processes, compliance, and investment-related services.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric certificate

• Minimum of 5 years experience at a CAT I Financial Services Provider (FSP)

• Exposure to investments, long-term insurance, employee benefits, medical aid, and gap cover

• Solid knowledge of financial advice and investment solutions

• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Experience with financial planning CRMs (e.g., AtWork, EliteWealth, Xplan)

• Must be based in Durban and able to work from the office full-time

Key Competencies:

• Understanding of FAIS, FICA, and financial services compliance

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong analytical and mathematical ability

• Excellent communication and writing skills

• Team-oriented mindset and professionalism

• Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines

• Adaptability and willingness to support evolving team and client needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and gather information for financial advisors

• Verify accuracy of policy schedules and client documentation

• Draft client reports and advice documentation

• Support with compliance and client review processes

• Collaborate with advisors, clients, service providers, and team members

• Assist in developing systems, templates, and processes to enhance service delivery

• Contribute to the overall client engagement strategy

Remuneration:

• Target Gross Monthly Salary: (based on experience and skillset)

• Includes an annual performance-based bonus via a profit share incentive scheme
