About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to join our team in Durban, South Africa. As a key member of our digital marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies to improve website rankings and online visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve website rankings and online visibility.
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Optimise website content, landing pages, metadata, and blog content.
- Monitor and analyse website performance using SEO and analytics tools.
- Perform technical SEO audits and work with developers to implement improvements.
- Track and report on organic traffic, rankings, and conversion performance.
- Assist with content planning and digital marketing initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with WordPress websites and SEO optimisation within WordPress environments.
- Experience using WordPress SEO plugins such as Yoast SEO, Rank Math, or similar.
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or in a similar digital marketing role.
- Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
- Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
- Knowledge of website performance optimisation and SEO best practices.
Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or related field will be advantageous.
