About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Tech Business Consultant to drive their business-to-business (B2B) technology sales initiatives. This role focuses on identifying and engaging potential clients, understanding their unique business challenges, and delivering tailored technology solutions that align with their strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical acumen and sales expertise, enabling them to effectively communicate business transformation concepts to a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and strategic outreach to expand the company’s client base.
- Engage with potential clients to understand their business challenges and objectives, proposing appropriate technology solutions that address their needs.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to design and present tailored technology solutions that align with client requirements and business goals.
- Prepare detailed and persuasive proposals and quotations, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company policies.
- Lead negotiations to finalize contracts, striving to achieve mutually beneficial agreements and successfully close sales.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technology sales, business consulting, or related roles, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of technology products and services, with the ability to articulate their value to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a consultative approach to sales.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of delivering engaging presentations and writing clear proposals.
Qualifications
- Certification in Sales, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Salary & Benefits
The company will supply a laptop to support your work responsibilities. Incentive structure includes a performance-based Key Performance Indicator (KPI) incentive and commission structure, offering significant earning potential for high achievers.
